procurement projects/activities in agreement with divisions and
international procurement offices Support team regarding the development and coordination of a
consistent, worldwide supply strategy for the wireless access-area
assigned Analyze, clarify and assess questions and issues in terms of
specific sourcing, supplier and commodity group management Prepare and contribute to the implementation of category
goals Support development and implementation of concepts of
competitive advantage on a global scope Advise and involve relevant internal customers and
stake-holders Perform internal and external benchmarks of the competitive
situation and of suppliers for the area assigned After getting yourself familiar with the topics and
circumstances, perform contract and procurement negotiations Draft master agreements, prepare them for signature, and
conclude them within the scope of authorization Contribute to frame contract implementation and evaluate
supplier performance Analyze and assess cost reduction and optimization potentials
internationally and suggest implementation measures Support implementation of electronic procurement processes Prepare development and contribute to monitoring of groupwide
goals for the area assigned Identify, analyze, assess and present procurement
successes
]]> Requierment Description Degree in Business Administration/Economics, Engineering
orLaw Internships or first professional experiences in a global
operating company in one of the following areas: Procurement,
Wireless Access Industry (IT/TK-industry), Consulting or Project
management You have the ability to express views convincingly and to take
an international perspective Basic knowledge/skills in sourcing. Such knowledge and skills
include a basic understanding of supply chain management,
outsourcing and modular sourcing Ideally you have first experiences in negotiations of business
contracts, including a general understanding of relevant legal,
tax-related and financial issues You know how to establish networks, so forming networks of
contacts to industry suppliers would not be a problem for you; this
goes along with a familiarity or deep interest with suppliers'
strategies, business procedures and structures Excellent English skills (oral and written) and intercultural
awareness In addition, the following specialized skills are
desirable: Basic overview of technical procurement and supplier markets
relevant to Deutsche Telekom First insights into cross-divisional and cross-functional
projects (preferably in the area of procurement) Basic knowledge of current procurement systems Experience in global enterprises with decentralized
